    I disagree. According to this definition of the word an insurgent is one who acts against their political party or the government.

    However, this force that we have been calling ICE as a catchall for a few different departments of the federal government, is not only in league with the government and party in power but is loyal only to and also taking orders directly from the executive branch. This is more on par with literal definition of a paramilitary.

    You should call them what you want, just try to be honest and kind to our words.
