Think of it like this, if you buy the DVD, are you entitled to the Blu-ray disc or the VHS? Different format/platform which makes it a different purchase.

I use steamrip pretty regularly and have never had any issues, but I also play the games on Linux where if there was malware it’d be unlikely to affect me so I don’t worry too much about it lol

I like Paradox Interactive and I’ve already bought the game and DLCs on console but I can’t transfer them, therefore I already paid for it.

I’ve seen that site recommended, and used it once to download a really obscure indie game that wasn’t on my usual source.

Didn’t get any malware or anything from that, but my experience using them is pretty limited so I’d say just keep an eye out for any odd behavior/apps/performance issues if you download it.
