Open Source@lemmy.ml•GIMP 3.2.2 Released with Various Improvements and UI/UX Updates
1311·4 days agoIs a normal human being able to use it now?
If I see a single commit with Claude or a single .MD file with instructions for AI I assume it’s vibe coded right away

013·6 days agoYou should have made it clear in the title. The title is the most important part and you’re literally saying you’ve made LLM stop “bullshitting”. Pretentious phrase to draw everyone attention. Then in the body you correct everybody assumption. Dirty move.

113·6 days agoTLDR.
So you basically solved humanity problems with LLMs, you should sell it to NVIDIA and be rich, no more hallucination.

Linux@lemmy.ml•What's your favorite well-designed CLI and why?
2·7 days agoBut you can find a good short description about each option with
-hS. It’s well designed in my opinion because of that, no need to go far to understand it.

Linux@lemmy.ml•What's your favorite well-designed CLI and why?
25·7 days agoI like CLI tools that everything I need can be found in a short
command --helpcall, if I don’t need to use “man command” it’s even better.I’ve used poor CLI tools for example
adbyou type this and you get almost a scientific article with more than 100 flags to use. No I don’t want to need to usegrep.A good one would be
pacmanit separates clearly what it does instead of shoving it all in a single command.

Privacy@lemmy.ml•Spez (Reddit CEO) just put out an announcement talking about how they'll verify bots vs humans. Get ready for a wave of new users into the Fediverse pretty soon!
3·7 days agoI think he’s talking about verification ID as in the platform, not as some service that comply with laws. Because verification ID is already being requested in Brazil, I live here and people from the regional privacy subreddit shared a few screenshot of Reddit asking for ID.
Not sure what he mean with promising Reddit won’t ask for verification ID while it’s actually already asking for it.
Idk what to think about this, I just know if I need show my ID and there’s no way to bypass that Reddit is definitely dead to me.

43·8 days agoWhat’s the problem here? I read his post and couldn’t understsnd what lead people here to overreact like that
I have the same GPU, how is the Cyberpunk performance?
I don’t mind AI use for consulting, the problem lies on AI writing code, especially without supervision.

Open Source@lemmy.ml•Remember when Github trending had some actually cool projects instead of AI snake oil?
12·25 days agoI wonder what happened to the developers as a community, these repos have more stars than many good open source projects out there.
It’s like if they became a bunch of addicted AI people and every new repo is a different drug dealer selling more of the same, and they all fall for it.

14·27 days agoSeeing your profile you manifest an exclusive behavior like using hashtags and tagging communities very often on posts and comments, it seems something only an AI would care about. Too much correctness.
