Kinda like ipv6 adoption, huh?

So, there’s this photo:

And then there’s the third paragraph:
The sticker features a phrase which was also the title of a 1960 pamphlet by George Lincoln Rockwell, who founded the American Nazi Party, HARRC said in a post Monday.
So, it’s probably safe to assume they are referring to the bottom sticker that says “In hoc signo vinces”.
Looking up the George Lincoln Rockwell reference, I did find the pamphlet in question.
I agree it would’ve been nice if the article was clearer about that and didn’t force the readers to do the journalist’s job for them.

People need to chill with the language fanaticism. It’s one thing to make jokes and rip on a language for its quirks, but at the end of the day it’s just a language. If you truly don’t like it, don’t use it. I’m going to take a stab and guess that there is enough Linux kernel source to go around to both the c devs and rust devs. Just be glad they’re not trying to rewrite it in JavaScript. 😉
I was making a joke about how the email was dated back in August 2025, and how it’s being posted now (for April Fool’s Day). The comparison being that the email talked about waiting on IPv6 adoption since 1998.
But you’re right that using IPv4 locally makes sense. Ain’t no way I’m trying to remember a 128-bit address.
