For this exact reason I got the VHS rips of Alien 1 & 2 off archive.org.
That is going to be a great watch one spooky night.

Was it good rap?

Ok this is a whole story.
So back in the 90s, my mum’s friend came back from working in Kuwait for a few years. She gave us a bunch of pirated disney movies. These were cams, but camcorders from the 90s. The video quality was terrible, and several had ads all through them for some burger place like their equivalent of burger king. The ads had some guy dressed in Saudi style robes and turban watching his burger get eaten by an invisible genie or something.
One of the films was Beauty and the Beast. Seeing it now, it’s like a whole different movie. As a kid, it was gritty, darkly lit the whole time because of the shitty camera, and because of that it had this severely oppressive horror feel to it. It also didn’t have any ads. As kids, that was one terrifying movie. There was no Disney brightness and joy. Just darkness.

Depends on the velocity of the bible.

File managers often have a bunch of plugins that add extra functionality. You could check those or try write your own for what functions you would like.
Whenever I have to use windows, the file manager is the thing that pisses me off the most. It’s utterly terrible to use. No tabs or extra panes. Directories exist in some kind of unspecified limbo, like recycle bin and my documents. Multiple copying is done all at once instead of queueing. Files aren’t organised cleanly or clearly. If you want to change config it’s hidden in a menu somewhere, you can’t just edit the config files directly. Gross.

This guy again??

I use proton and it seems to work just fine for me
Bottles, in my opinion, is a piece of shit.
It depends on the game, but gnerally you would set up the prefix with whatever wine or proton version is compatible, install any other windows stuff like directx or fonts etc if required, and then run the install executable for the game and install it. Then you might have to run a separate crack program in the prefix or replace the game exe in lutris
I also have curiosity. I found steam so much easier than piracy so I never tried. Except in the one case of Riddick. Couldn’t buy it so I installed a cracked version on Lutris. From memory it just worked. Also it’s great, totally worth a playthrough if you haven’t already.
Yes because the poor people would… pay for windows instead of have a free OS?
The same as windows but less because most of us use free open source alternatives
Linux is free? You couldn’t pirate it if you tried
Also remember, impossibility is no excuse for noncompliance now. In the US at least.
Ohh right yes. I only ever touch hostname once during install and then only hosts after that
There’s another way to change the hostname that isn’t etc/hosts?

I’ve been using arch for years. 99.999% of the time it’s fine. But the 0.001% of the time it’s a real bitch

The answer is always Mint
Save yourself the time and boot into a live distro with gnome, like the latest Ubuntu or something. Sanity test. Make sure it works there before trying to fix your own install.
Keep the originals just in case
